The HPA combined with a tool setting probe, allows big reductions in tool setting times This unit comes equipped with two RP3 Tips, and a case. Below is some informaion I found on the web that may help: HIGH PRECISION ARM The HPA is fitted with either a two axis TS20 probe or three axis LP2 probe. The unique HPA base design, ensures highly repeatable stylus positioning each time the HPA is loaded into the machine. A quick release lever allows the HPA to be removed from the machine's working envelope during metal cutting and stored on a stand. The stand may be conveniently located on top of the CNC machine. l Tool setting times up to 90% faster, than traditional methods. l Offset calculation automatic and reliable. l HPA typical repeatability 5?m (0.0002in) 2 sigma. l Modular components allow the HPA to be configured to suit specific applications. l HPA systems are available as original equipment or retrofit.
