DUST BAG FOR CHERRYHILL FLOOR SANDERS: U-SAND, PRO, SUPERBEE REPLACES CHERRYHILL PART # VB-AS or VB-146 NO LONGER SUPPLIED BY MANUFACTURER! IMPORTANT NOTE P L E A S E R E A D ! Cherryhill has stopped offering dust bags, either with its machines or as separate items. Apparently, they suffered some claims due to fires, and they could no longer get insurance unless they stopped offering their machines with dust bags; they now are sold for use "with vacuums only." There is a danger of spontaneous combustion in dust bags with any sander; the same danger that makes grain silos so vulnerable. It is why sanders, dust bags, manuals (and my listings!) all have warnings you should heed. In my personal opinion, there is no more fire hazard with Cherryhill's machines than any other brand; it seems they just got unlucky with lawsuits (but I'll admit I don't know the whole story). By purchasing from this listing, you must understand that it is to be used at your own risk, and that you are responsible for following the safety warnings printed on the bag. Cherryhill does not endorse the use of this product. This dust bag with adapter tube is produced exclusively by Tornado Alley Tools to replace the original Cherryhill dust bag, which is no longer available from any source. Simply slip the tube onto the exhaust outlet, and hang the strap from the handle adjuster knob (see 4th photo above). The only disadvantage is that this bag holds less dust than the original; however, it is much easier to empty, since it doesn't have the four Velcro strips. The zipper is much sturdier than that on Cherryhill's bag. Another advantage is that if a replacement bag is needed, it is Clarke part number 53763A, sold in our store for $33.00.
