Replacement OFF - ON toggle switch for your vintage Delta UNISAW or shaper. This sale is for a "new" toggle switch for your vintage Delta UNISAW and other Delta woodworking machines that had a diecast switch housing similar to the Unisaw. The price listed is for one switch, in your choice of toggle color from those we list. THE 115V RED SWITCHES ARE NOW BACK IN STOCK. See below for all of the color choices. If a choice is not specified, we will ship a 115V single pole switch with a gray toggle lever. At this price, it is good insurance to have a "spare" on hand. Inevitably your saw switch will someday fail.... and it will be during a critical project and on a Friday night when a true fitting good switch can't be had. Only the switch is being offered in this sale. The housing and cover plates are for illustration of the fit and function of the switch only and are not included. The original switches were a off-on toggle switch with a metal handle that had a small ball on the end of the toggle lever. These have been discontinued for years and there never has been a good replacement offered. We make several styles of the vintage Delta equipment switch plates and noticed, during our research and acquisition of the vintage parts to base our reproduction on, that very few old table saws and shapers had a decent switch in them after the original must have failed. This modified-to-suit switch is the perfect compliment to our very popular replacement switch plates for vintage Delta woodworking equipment. The switch we are offering is a high quality Pass-Seymour 20 amp 120-277 volt rated heavy duty single pole toggle switch. This switch will work with all 1 hp and 1 1/2 hp (and smaller) vintage Delta single phase motors, that are being operated on 110-120 voltage. We modify the switch mounting brackets to offset the switch as required to fit snugly up to the backside of the switch plate and to perfectly match to the OEM housing's threaded mounting hole locations. Each switch will be shipped complete with the two 8-32 stainless steel pan head screws needed for mounting the switch to the original tapped holes and a non-insulated hook terminal for the ground wire. This switch is available with either a gray toggle, red toggle, or a white toggle lever and fits perfectly in both the OEM aluminum switch plate and in the new stainless steel switch plates we have reproduced to the original Delta dimensions. The switch has screw terminals for breaking the hot lead of the 115 volt circuit and a provision for a ground wire, not originally found in the vintage Delta tool power wiring. The switch is both UL listed and CSA stamped. Our stock of 220V single phase switches is almost gone. These switches are similarly modified, correct fitting, double pole Pass-Seymour 20 white toggle lever switches for 220v use. Please specify at time of ordering if you prefer one color over another and whether your usage is 115V or 220V. Not all colors in all varieties of switches may be still available. An unmodified, stock form Pass -Seymour switch of this part number would retail for somewhere around $22-$26. Even though our switches are brand new and have been modified as required by us to fit the Delta switch housing, we are able to offer this bolt-in replacement switch for substantially less than normal retail pricing and will include free shipping.
