For Sale: ResMed S8 compatible Complete Power Cord Conversion Kit to operate your Cpap directly off a 12V Battery. INCLUDES Battery Cable with Clips and Cigarette Lighter Socket. Just clip it on, plug it in, and sleep like a baby! Note: This power cord is not made by ResMed, BUT it is made by a CPAP Manufacturer: Respironics with the addition of a professionally produced adapter to convert it from Negative Ground to Positive Ground, (which is specific to Resmed Products). This Power Cord is FUSE-PROTECTED as well as STATIC FILTERED to reduce causing electrical interference in radios, cell phones, wi-fi devices nearby. With this power cord there is NO NEED to use an inverter (which can waste 30 to 40% of the battery power in use.) If you are having doubts about buying this, it is perfectly understandable. Your Cpap Device is too important to gamble with an unknown product. This replaces the ResMed DC-12 Converter for the following ResMed Devices: S8 ESCAPE, ESCAPE II S8 AUTOSET, AUTOSET II S8 ELITE, S8 ELITE II: VPAP AUTO The DC-12 Converter #33942 has been discontinued by the manufacturer (they are now supporting only the new Air 10 series and recommending that everyone with an S8 buy a new Air 10 Cpap device!) Even when they did still sell them, the price ranged up to $129 for the S8 converter alone without the additional battery clips. NOTE: The ResMed S8 operates with REVERSED POLARITY (positive ground) so be VERY CAREFUL with shopping for any "after market" cords that do not specifically state that they are POSITIVE GROUND like this power cord. Use of a negative ground power cord (like most other brands use) could fry your Cpap circuit board. (Read the CPAP FORUMS for the S8 and you will find many people who found out the hard way!) THIS POWER CORD WILL WORK WITH ONLY THE DEVICES LISTED ABOVE.
