MF522-AN RFID module 13.56 Mhz read/write with SPI interface OVERVIEW: The MF522-AN is a complete low cost RFID 13.56 Mhz module and may be connected to any microcontroller having a standard SPI interface. This module comes with 2 Mifare tags with 1 Kb EEPROM. The tags must be at an aproximate distance of 10 cms from the MF522 device to activate the RFID functions. MF522-AN has read/write capability of the EEPROM in tags, with applications ranging from public transport, access control, attendance control to electronic wallet systems. COMPLETE C18 PROJECT FOR PIC 18F2550 MICROCONTROLLER: With the MF522-AN module, we provide a complete project for Bolt 18F2550 system, capable of reading and writing the RFID Mifare tags. In addition, a Bluetooth interface is used, so as to visualize data on a mobile phone. The user may also connect directly a Laptop to the serial port of the Bolt system to observe RFID data. For this purpose, an MPLAB IDE project for the C18 compiler is provided. Several RFID ANSI C libraries are available (erase EEPROM of tag, read serial number, read EEPROM memory and write block of EEPROM in tag), so that the user may modify and create its own applications.
