  10/2014, 86 50  You are bidding on a RMS Microscope Objective Mount to a M42 Camera Mount Adapter used for taking microphotographic pictures  This adapter can be used on ALL standard RMS microscope objectives including Carl Zeiss Luminar (16 25 40 63mm).  Keep in mind that not all microscopes use this thread type but MOST do.      This is the item you are purchasing    A RMS (Royal Microscope Society standard Whitworth 0.8 inch diameter / 36 TPI threads per inch) Threaded Microscope Objective mount to a standard M42 thread adapter (M42x1.0 metric) allowing a microscope objective to mount on your camera.  You do need to have a M42 Bayonet mount specific to your camera.          A RMS/M42 mount with Microscope objective screwed in place. Objective not included in this sale.       Mounted to your camera.  Please keep in mind that the proper M42 Bayonet mount for your camera is still required.  Keep in mind while the lens will fit properly, the automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. "Stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode.        Exploded view of all parts required.
