Rotary Evaporator -- Buchi Brinkman RotoVapor RE, Condenser, Flask, Vapor Tube Includes Heavy Duty Base with Position and Rotation Controls Fine Controller for Variable Speed Motor Bucchi Rotovapor / Brinkman Instruments Inc.: A Top Manufacturer of Lab Equipment Description: - - - - Buchi Model RE Rotovapor system for vertical or diagonal - controlled evaporation and separation of volatile solvents and other materials. Continuously variable rotation speed with Vapor Tube and Teflon sleeve, 110V / 60 cps from low to about 180 rpm. Continuously rotatable and lockable vertical and horizontal axis. Includes axial rotary Vapor Tube with the special gasket joint. Top of Rotor includes the special very tight joint for attaching a spring-loaded connection to the Buchi Brinkman condenser. Condenser ( a component normally listed at nearly $500 ) and glass Vapor Tube ( a component normally listed at $179 ) are included. The condenser is very heavy walled, solid constructed, 3-1/4" OD and about 13 stages (3 coils of 3/8" D glass tubing inside). Top exit of condenser includes a standard 19 x 34 F GG joint. There are 3 IN / OUT heavy duty 3/8" D at the top glass tubes for stability in attaching tubes. The condensate outlet is a standard M ball joint to the receiving flask. . The condenser includes the special gasket and large spring-secured joint to match the Buchi RE rotor. Also included is a 1 L round bottom Receiving flask with a Ball Joint to match the condenser. It includes the spring loaded metal ball joint clamp. The Stand is a wide, heavy, V-shape for stability and includes excellent versatility in movement and rotations. The entire Rotovapor assembly can be easily raised and lowered on with a long handle that can be locked in place. Some additional GG adapters are also included shown. This system does not include a water bath or evaporating flask but they are readily available elsewhere. Any of the components are available separately with or without the RotoVaporator.
