This is a fantastic lot of two Sargent-Welch Scientific Dynamics Carts used in the laboratory to demonstrate a variety of mass-motion (velocity, acceleration, and momentum) experiments. The cars are all metal, being made of rolled steel and enclosed on both ends to withstand both vertical and lateral shock. The cars have three low-friction, ball-bearing metal wheels, a protective non-slip rubber pad on top, and a clamp for attaching recording tape. The cars differ in weight by less than 10%. They have a small rod extending upward on one end and have a hole in the other end, thereby permitting one car to be secured upside down on the other. Thus the load can be effectively doubled. Cars measure 3 1/2" x 15 1/4" and are in excellent condition - they have never been used and boxes were only opened to take pictures. Comes with 2 sets of instructions for use. The rubber bands that came with the cars may need to be replaced due to age. Boxes do have some shelf wear but are in solid condition for storage.
