Check out my other items!THE FAMOUS KEUFFEL & ESSER 16 INCH 4045 SLIDE RULE WAS PATENTED IN THE YEAR 1900 AND WAS PRODUCED THROUGHOUT THE FIRST FEW DECADES OF THE 20TH. CENTURY. A HARD TO FIND MODEL THESE DAYS, AS IT FALLS BETWEEN THE STANDARD 10 INCH AND THE LARGER 20 INCH MODELS. FEWER WERE MADE AS IT WAS MORE EXPENSIVE. ACTUAL AGE OF THIS BEAUTY IS UNKNOWN. CONSTRUCTED OF CELLULOID ON MAHOGANY WITH A REAL GLASS CURSOR. THE SLIDE RULE IS VERY CLEAN WITH VIRTUALLY NO APPARENT NICKS OR SCRATCHES. SMOOTH TIGHT OPERATION OF THE SLIDE AND CURSOR.
