The Nakajima name is not a household word in the USA, but they made many models of their typewriters and other equipment under the Sears, IBM, Adler, and other names, at their factory in Japan and then in USA. This is a very full-featured model. BUT it works quite well as a plain-vanilla typewriter. Most of the special features are pretty easy to figure out kby experimenting with the "code" key and the LCD screen. The correctable ribbon in it works well, and I will include another unused one. Same with correction tapes, working one is installed, and another new one included. (Correction tapes are the same as used in the Brother AX-GX-SX models, and other brands as well. The ribbons are different from Brother, but are used in other Nakajima products. Both items are readily available.) This model uses daisy-wheel type print wheels SIMILAR to but NOT interchangeable with those in Brother, Smith Corona, and most other brands of electronic typewriters from the era. The one in it is "Prestige 10" which looks about like this. It looks good typed at ten or twelve characters per inch. There were other fonts available but I don't have any. All the keys work properly. They have a light touch like a computer keyboard, and deliver consistent impression on the paper. The print mechanism moves across the paper. Corrections back up and work letter-by-letter lifting off the ink. I do offer combined shipping for CDs and DVDs. Added shipping in USA is $1 for each additional SINGLE disc, get quote for other stuff. Must wait for my revised invoice and pay for all together, for full discount. Color tint and intensity may not be accurate, due to difference in monitors and my photographic skill level. Occasionally I use stock photos. Generally this indicates that the real thing looks just like the stock photo unless I say otherwise. I will NOT show a misleading photo deliberately. Feedback: Please consider carefully before leaving less than the BEST POSSIBLE feedback (all 5-stars) for me or ANY seller. If there is a problem, please discuss it with the seller BEFORE posting feedback. Fee is charged only the first time for a buyer; no charge on purchases after that. If I recognize an address as “local” I will include this option in your invoice.
