The platform offers WAN bandwidth links between 2.4 Kbps and 625 Mbps. The setup can be remotely performed via the VISIOВ® management console and through a web browser. STORM's WAN emulation model consists of endpoints, gateways, WAN clouds, and links. It can emulate WAN latency, packet loss, and other characteristics caused by dynamic routing effects. This switch-like platform can emulate the behavior of complex WAN networks with multi-nodes. LAN traffic is degraded to emulate the WAN so that users can predict how content, applications, or devices under test will behave in different real-world conditions. Users can direct the platform's traffic through the emulated network's links using optional routing rules. Though the platform doesn't create IP traffic, it accurately and simultaneously emulates the effects of WAN links defined by the user. By bidding, users accept all terms and conditions set forth. The unit pictured is offered with a used condition and a 30-day warranty. Users can set up WAN latency and packet loss manually or import them from the real WAN using SHUNRA Software Ltd.'s technology. The Shunra Storm STX-100 platform is a hardware-based product ideal for enterprise testing.
