For Auction: Vintage Singer 319W heavy duty sewing machine. The Singer 319 was perhaps the most unique sewing machine produced by the Singer company. An all metal heavy duty sewing machine with the ability to make hundreds of different decorative stitch patterns with the levers on the machine and the Singer Fashion Discs / cams that originally came with it. This machine can sew anything from delicate fabrics to heavy materials with ease. This particular machine is in good condition with some paint wear and chips consistent with it's age. Mechanically it is very sound and sews well, was tested on Sunbrella fabric and sewed with ease with various cams and stitch lengths, including in reverse (see photos for sewing samples). I'm no expert on using this machine but it seems to do everything it was designed to do. Original light works perfectly. Machine was lightly cleaned, oiled and tested. This machine is LOADED with accessories including: Original vintage Singer manual, original box of Singer Fashion Discs, additional darning needle plate, vintage accessory box with various accessories and presser feet, vintage Singer Buttonholer, vintage oiler (1/3 full), two partial needle packages, vintage Singer screw drivers, three spare bobbins, vintage 'Sewing Ideas' booklet, and original mint green foot pedal and power cord. Wiring was looked over and appears to be in good working order but is beginning to get stiff in areas. All in all an incredible package and a great machine.
