Most were made surplus because they are over 3 years old and this company's QA standards mandate the retirement of any solder aged 3 years. But truly there is no problem with this material. Some of the roles are partially used and others are full pound spools. Those that are not full pound spools weigh at least .9 lbs gross. Otherwise partial spools are being lotted up and the gross weight of each lot is being given. Please note that the actual empty spool by itself weighs less than 0.1 Lbs.
