This was my personal function generator, but one morning I turned it on and it blew a fuse.  I opened the case and saw a filter capacitor that had a little weeping.  (There is an empty circle where the capacitor was located)  I cleaned the board with alcohol and could not see any damage to the circuit board.  I purchased another filter capacitor but did not figure out what was causing the fuse to blow.  It became a project on my back bench....time passed and I no longer have the time or instruments to repair the generator.  I do have an original manual with full schematics, that is included.  It is a great little unit for someone with the time to trace the reason for the fault.  As the photographs show, it is physically in good condition, inside and out.
