Superb B&K BK 707 Dyna-Jet Tube Tester in Box Calibrated with SS Rectifier This is one beautiful tube tester! One of the easiest testers to test the famed 12AX7 and 6SN7 as it will test both sections with the push of a button! (No need to change a bunch of settings!) The deck and meter are practically immaculate. The tolex covering looks wonderful with only a few marks here and there. As for performance, all electrolytic capacitors were replaced with fresh higher-voltage ones. The two #55 bulbs were replaced with NOS ones. All pots and switches were cleaned with deoxit. The tube sockets are nice and tight and none are worn out. The tired old #83 rectifier was replaced with a solid state one with beefy diodes and 1 watt resistors. The 6BN8 was tested and determined to be good as new! Then the tester was thoroughly calibrated (twice) per the BK service manual . (Calibration voltage was 118VAC) This unit will come with two grid cap leads, a printed copy of the user manual, AND THE ORIGINAL BOX! This unit is easy to use, but you must familiarize yourself with the proper operation. I prefer to sell this to someone who is already familiar with the proper testing of tubes and knows what to expect. No returns for buyers remorse.
