Sympatech RODOS/M Sympa-TEC Particle Size Analyzer Laser diffraction sensor HELOS/BF with measuring zone for the insertion of dry / wet dispersers or sample couplers for particle size analysis from 0.1 µm to 875 µm (to 8,750 µm. 1: HELOS, the well proven laser diffraction sensor is the first system using one measuring principle (laser diffraction in the parallel laser beam) for the whole measuring range from 0.1 µm to 8750 µm. It is the classical instrument for particle size analysis of dry and wet samples, i.e. of powders, suspensions, emulsions or sprays. It is entirely built to the specifications of ISO 13320 "Particle size analysis - laser diffraction methods" - and designed for absolute precision measurements to typically ±1% deviation with respect to the standard metre. 2: The RODOS is an universal dry dispersing unit applicable for nearly all kinds of dry powders with particle sizes in the range from < 0.1µm to about 3500 µm. The patented combination of feeding and dispersing enables a smooth, complete, product adaptable dispersion, which is widely extended into the SUBMICRON range. 3: VIBRI: A constant sample mass-flow is of decisive importance for powerful dry dispersing. The controlled vibratory feeding unit VIBRI/L, equipped with a built in amplitude controller feeds the sample constantly and independent of the load in the VIBRI funnel 4: ROTOR connected to HELOS/BR or HELOS/KR automatically lifts the complete unit and turns it to the desired angle. 5: The SPRAYER is a versatile adapter of pump sprays or propellant gas sprays to the HELOS sensor for the measurement of particle and droplet size distributions.
