This product was specifically designed to not only clean teeth and remove/prevent plaque buildup, but also to be the best teeth remineralization product on the market.  Teeth are made of hydroxyapatite and the body can remineralize them through the saliva but fluoride prevents this natural process from occuring.  In addition to that this product turbocharges the process by delivering the teeth remineralization products directly to the teeth and into any imperfections in the teeth.  It also serves to alkalize the saliva to help the process.  Enamel is made out of hydroxyapatite and enamelins.  This product provides the 3:1 molar ratio of tricalcium phosphate and calcium hydroxide to make hydroxyapatite.  It also provides the main amino acid components in their proper ratio's to form the enamelin protien.  Enamelins make up 2-5% of enamel weight.  Silica has been a shown to act as a scaffolding material in biological mineralization so the sodium percarbonate and diatomaceous earth combined produce some soluble silica.  Sodium percarbonate also releases hydrogen peroxide so it adds a slight amount of foam to the product and helps kill germs in the mouth which cause tooth decay and prevent mineralization as well. Ingredients: 81.92% tricalcium phosphate food grade 7.08% calcium hydroxide food grade 4% diatomaceous earth food grade 3% sodium percarbonate food grade 2.66% glutamic acid food grade 1.33% aspartic acid food grade Please see my other auctions to find other products to take internally to also support tooth formation.  Also there is no reason why you couldn't take this product internally if desired.
