For sale is a nice looking Tektronix Type 585A Oscilloscope from the estate of a local NASA engineer. It looks good and clean (outside of a bit of surface rust around the handles), and it lights up when plugged in and turned on. The former owner has passed, but his wife said that it was working when he last used it, and it was stored in a temperature controlled environment. That said, I cannot test it, and I have no idea whether it works, so I am selling it for parts or as a project to be refurbished. The cord has some obvious wear. It is quite heavy, and with appropriate packaging, it requires a sizable box, so the shipping cost will reflect that. However, I do offer two different shipping options, so that you can find the option with the best cost to your location. Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on. Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option. However, eBay's Global Shipping Program may limit combined shipping for international buyers. Also, I am not ever able to provide international returns. As of 2019, many U.S. states have begun to require that eBay sellers charge sales tax on purchases made from residents of their state. If your state requires a sales tax payment, that tax payment will show up on your invoice for final payment.
