I worked at Tek from the mid-70's to the mid-80's and was a scope designer.  My division manager at the time found out that I had purchased a 7514 from Tek Surplus and one day showed up to give me some inside information on it's design.  It turned out that he was the project manager for the 7514.  One thing he made evident was the split-screen, elevated storage pushed CRT design to the limit and that reject rates were not pretty.  So he suggested that I make an employee purchase of a backup CRT since they were out of production.  When I initially tried to purchase one I was refused because there were only three in stock.  He intervened and got me this one.  Unobtainium defines this one now.  See the photo of the original invoice.   Ironically I have never needed it and my old faithful 7514 is currently listed for sale on Ebay.  This has never been out of the box and been taken care of in my travels.  Shipping is worst case to the west coast.  If you live closer to 27013 then it will be less.  Wait for an invoice for the correct amount before paying.  I will ship for a bit more of course to Canada but not internationally.  Note that because this item is a perfect target for parts swappers I can not offer my usual 14 day return policy.  This only fits a 7514 like the one I have currently listed.
