At the Buy IT Now price I am offering you a used, refurbed, correctly working, freshly calibrated Tek 7A13 for less than 6% of its $4500 new price in 1992, with 90 days fuaranty. If you offer less than BIN price, you will be deleting some of my value adding services (meaning you may have to do my work). The 7000 series are still popular because they proved to be durable and repairable, and because of exceptionally capable plugins like this one. The 7A13 plugin has had a very long run from 1969 (when it had a mechanical odometer style offset voltage control) to 1992. The ones I'm selling are all newer and have LEDs. The 7A13 has a push pull input with very high common mode rejection ratio (upto 10000:1) and 100MHz bandwidth. Either of the 2 inputs can be coupled to an accurate internal variable supply that can provide a calibrated offset of upto 10000 screen divisions. Effectively, this plugin offers for the vertical axis of the scope what the delayed time base system offers the horizontal axis: great magnification and high resolution displacement measurement (an example of where this comes in handy is to determine if all stairsteps of a video gray scale signal are of equal amplitude). Since I have had more than 1 for sale, the 1 in the photos may not be the 1 you will get. Photos were taken before refurbing. 2nd photo shows a 5Vpp (from gnd to +5) 1KHz square wave signal fed into the non inverting input, whose top is measured as 5.005V by feeding the plugin's internal supply to the inverting input. The 7704A mainframe is not part of this sale (already sold). Of the $290 Buy-It-Now price, Ebay shall keep $30 in sales commission and Paypal shall keep about $9 for moving your money, so I will only see about $250. Ebay does not want to miss out on its take, so it will not disclose my direct contact info until you buy anything from me, however inexpensive (could you use a $5 handle label for your portable scope?) first. I ship worldwide. Ebay & Paypal require I ship by carrier/method that includes tracking & delivery confirmation, which public Airmail is not good at. Tektronix made another differential plugin called 7A22 which had lower bandwidth (DC-1MHz), 100X higher sensitivity (upto 10 microvolts/cm instead of 1mV/cm), no calibrated slideback voltage, and much higher (upto 100000:1) common mode rejection ratio. If you'd rather get a 7A22, one can be yours at the same pricing. Let me know if you want it instead.
