At the Buy It Now price I am offering you a nicely working Tek TG501A Time Mark Generator plugin, guaranteed for 90 days, at a fourth or a fifth of what it cost new. These were the late 1980s successor to the TG501 introduced in the late 1970s. TG501, in turn, was successor to 2901 and 184 which lacked the 2 steps of the 1-2-5 squencing. TG501A needs to sit in a TM5__ power box to work, eg: TM503, which can be found widely and quite inexpensively on the used market (I may be able to supply one free if you pay for its added shipping cost). In the late 1990s Tek sold the 5__ line to Tegam (in Ohio). Tegam continued making them for a decade, then quit. If you offer less than BIN, you may get one that needs attention (cal/repair), and there will be no 90 days guaranty. TG501A is an improved version of TG501. TG501A includes (as standard) what was option 1 (high stability reference) on TG501. It enables calibration of scope time bases, as well as checks on frequency counters,... Unlike earlier 2901 or 184, TG501A can vary output frequency upto about + and - 8% to measure deflection error (if exceeds 2-3%, signifies scope needs cal). Since I have/had more than 1 for sale, the 1 in the photos may not be the 1 you will get, but any I send you will look and work as well at BIN. I ship worldwide.
