Complete HP 4338A Milliohmmeter system, tested and in excellent working and physical condition, with Kelvin lead interface (Mating Cable) box (HP 16143B), Kelvin large clip leads (HP 16005B), Kelvin IC clip leads (HP 16005D/C), LED Display/Trigger Box (Agilent 16064B), power cord, copy of User's Guide, Service Manual, and original Agilent manual for LED Display/Trigger box in binder. The kelvin clip leads connect to the instrument through the Mating Cable which mounts to the BNC leads on instrument front panel, locking in place with the two mounting levers. The LED Display/Trigger box is used to setup a one or two level component screening system, by setting comparator levels in instrument with external trigger, connecting kelvin leads to component/DUT, by pressing test/trigger button-- the instrument performs the check and indicates pass/fail status on the box LEDs. The GPIB interface allows remote measurement control or logging of measurement data. The unit passes self-test as shown in photos, also the built-in maintenance function was used to test all panel buttons- all items work as intended. The exterior is in excellent condition, minor wear, scuffs and minor scratches. Overall in excellent condition. From Agilent- The HP 4338A milliohmmeter is a precise, reliable, high-speed test tool for measurements of low resistance. Precise, Low-Resistance Measurement Contact failure of electromechanical components in a low-current circuit is a key issue for component reliability . The HP 4338A offers selectable low AC test signals (1 pA to 10 mA) . Users can now characterize low resistances of electromechanical components under low-current conditions. A high resolution of 10 micro-ohm allows you to determine the slightest differences in contact resistance testing of relays, switches, connectors, PC board traces and cables. The 1 kHz test signal eliminates potential errors introduced by thermoelectric effects on the device-under-test (DUT) contacts. The 1 kHz AC test signal is the best solution to evaluate the internal resistance of batteries, because it avoids DC energy consumption. High-Speed Measurements The high-speed (34 ms), built-in comparator and HP-IB/handler interfaces make it possible to construct a measurement system using an automatic handler and external computer to minimize production test time. Auto-Measurement Mode When performing gross continuity testing where the test signal level is not a significant factor in the test, the auto-measurement function allows the instrument to select an appropriate test signal and measurement range setting. The unit includes power cord, HP 16143B Mating Cable (Kelvin leads interface), HP 16005B Kelvin Large Clip Leads, HP 16005C/D Kelvin IC Clip Leads, Agilent 16064B LED Display/Trigger Box with cable, and BNC to BNC cable. The unit has some minor wear, scuffs and scratches but is in overall excellent condition. The GPIB interface works properly, communicates to/from a GPIB talker/listener. The unit has all feet, including working folding out frond stand arms as shown. The manufacturer label is intact on unit. Good unit working with many useful accessories.
