This brand new Theremino PMT Adapter is a High Voltage Bias Driver for your gamma scintillator detector. It provides for an inexpensive way to do real Gamma Spectrometry/Spectroscopy right on your own computer with freely available and sophisticated MCA software from Theremino and others. The Theremino PMT Adapter Provides continually variable HV throughout it's range of 540 to 1000 volts, and contains a feedback circuit capable of keeping the voltage stable even in the presence of strong temperature variations. In this way the calibration remains accurate over time and the rows of the isotopes do not move and do not widen. With the freely available Theremino_MCA software, you can do filtering operations and cancellation of the background to get even more useful information in a very fast time. This adapter can also be used with the other well-known software freeware like PRA (thank Marek Dolleiser for having paved the way for this kind of analysis, his software PRA is a reference standard for many years). This listing for the Theremino PMT Adapter, additionally includes the Theremino recommended and modified USB sound card that provides power to the adapter, also a quality shielded dual sound/power cord.
