The problem is the power switch. Most of the time it turns on fine, but sometimes, when you press the button, you hear a click, then the fan goes on, then it shuts down. In this case, I have found that pressing and holding the button turns the machine on. But turning it off is another story. Most of the time, the only way to turn off the machine is to unplug it. But otherwise, it runs smoothly and responds to programming. It looks as though something hard got between the top plate and the base, leaving oval-shaped scrapes in the paint front and back.
