This Item is the TransCrypt Model MO83-430 Scrambler Board for the Motorola Models listed. These modules were removed from working equipment, but since I am unable to test, I am selling them As-Is. The MO83 is available in four levels of security.  This particular model is the Medium Rate Dynamic which is far more secure than voice inversion types. For the CP/CM series of Motorola radios, the MO83 is designed to fit several popular Motorola radio models, including the CP140/160/180, CM140/160, PR400, EP450, EM400, CM300, and PM400. The MO83 is easy to install, requires very low power to operate and offers outstanding voice quality. The Over-the-Air Reprogramming (OTAR) feature enables ANI codes and system controls to be changed while the radio is in the field. The Automatic Receive Option allows for automatic detection of both clear and coded communication modes. The Disable Radio Function can make the radio unable to receive or transmit messages, preventing breaches in communications security. In addition, the MO83 does not affect the use of a system's sub-audible signaling options, such as transparent operation through repeaters.
