Each Bid is for One Set including two rods and four pillow blocks. This rod is hardened to a 60 case and precision ground. 60 Case LinearRace shaft surface hardness provides resistance to deformation, whether it be from extreme point contact loading from bearing balls, line contact from rollers, or area contact from sleeve bearings. Hardness also provides resistance to wear, maintaining critical internal bearing fitup dimensions. 60 Case-hardened LinearRace shafting also provides a significant increase in bending and rotational fatigue resistance. This fact has been known in the automotive industry for years and is applied to the manufacturer of shafts and axles for cars and trucks. Unlike common shafting, Thomson 60 Case LinearRace shafting is manufactured to the highest quality standards. Their techniques are continuously upgraded with proprietary know-how gained from over 53 years of linear bearing design and manufacture. This assembly will make a very nice precision axis.
