This is the basic everyday "upper guide" plate located just past pull in wheels. There is a sensor mounted on the top of this plate, and held there by a little "spring". I've run into presses where the piece of metal that holds the spring in place breaks loose of the spot weld that should hold it there. If that happens it's not going to run unless you can figure out another way to hold the sensor in place.
