This Van Pak conveyor is designed to scan coded packages and transfer the data to a central program. The conveyor contains a Linx 4800 encoder unit with 3 RS-232 ports. The Linx connects to the encoding electric eye mounted on the conveyor. The Linx is S/N LP81403. The conveyor is designed with two parallel 12" wide by 53" long belts which carry the container over the electric eye. The belts have closely spaced 3/4"W soft gripper strips to assure steady, positive motion over the electric eye. There is an adjustable bar on one side of the conveyor which allows the operator to make sure the container moves over the electric eye properly. The conveyor is driven by a .5HP 208-230/460. With this very nice conveyor is an AB fused, .5HP contact starter in a control box. The conveyor delivers the containers to a 12" x 28"w S/S staging area for packaging.
