Refurbished Victor 2 Burner Hot Dog Cart Classic Design, Early Serial Number - S/N 001963 I have a factory refurbished Victor 2 Burner Hot Dog Cart up for bid. I purchased to help enhance an existing business, but have decided to build a food trailer instead. Work was completed in 2012 and the cart has not be used since. Unit was previously employed in Western theme park in Tombstone. I purchased last year and used it for approximately 2 months as a produce and cold drink cart. I have decided to build a food trailer and am placing it up for sale. CONDITION: Please read. Classix Stainless Steel design. Has a few dings on the rear end from moving in and out of storage. The decal has a few scrapes too. The underside of the cooking tray area appears galvanized, is corroded, and could use some TLC. This is the burner areas, not a food prep area. I am not sure why the refurbishment did not address this minor issue but these areas tend to corrode and require maintenance (high heat + water), so maybe it was a judgement call. Will post a picture when I find a good way to take a picture (small space) Super clean unit. Not road beat. New tires. The NSF cooking trays still have the price tags on them. Tows nicely too. This efficient unit has: 2 13,000 btu propane burners 2 full size slop/warming trays 1 full size steam tray 2 half-size steam trays, 2 removable stainless cooking covers cooler box with drain freshwater holding tank hot water supplied by new copper pipe running thru the gas burners handwash sink with faucet a small greywater tank new propane connector high speed tires 3rd wheel with jack that swivels up when in tow As it is set up it would make an ideal add-on to an exiting licensed restaurant or catering business. You can do a lot more than hot dogs with this. It's basically a cold drink bin plus a steam table with wheels. You may also forgo the heat and ice up the warming trays to display/sell cold drinks, produce, etc. This is a classic design that worked for many years in Phoenix and most Western states. The past decade has seen toughening of standards for hot dog carts nationwide. Each health department is different, but with a little diligence & work you can probably adapt this platform to your local health regulations. FYI - Most health departments want a windscreen around three sides of the cart these days, a divider between the handsink and food service areas and increased fresh water and holding tank capacities. Pretty simple and logical stuff. Victor has the same design on their website with upgraded features to accommodate modern code in Maricopa County, Arizona (Phoenix), so take a look. Their new cart is made of polished aluminum diamondplate, which looks like a prison commissary cart to me. STAY WITH CLASSIC. Good basis for larger concession set-up too. I've seen some folks transplant this efficient style hot dog unit onto a larger trailer and install additional grills, refrigeration, generators & dishwashing equipment. Nice cart. Great condition. Priced right for the condition. Great basis for your business.
