The motor currently just hums when pulled on and off, but cleaning it up and removing the gunk and greasy dust and dirt may get it to run again. There is also a reset knob on its shaft, with the arrow pointing to "C" when the large drive wheel revolves in 30 seconds. This vintage Bodine Electric Speed Reduction - Reducer Motor, Type CR-2, 1/80 H.P., is a metal badge made by Bodine Electric Co. The motor has large hooks to attach to a larger unit-motor. The gear ratio of the little brass plate in the front is 289. The motor is mounted onto the reducer and has a large knob in the center with Slow and Fast settings and the letters A-B-C-D-E.
