This auction is for a vintage model CT-1 capacitor tester manufactured by the Century Electronics Company, Mineola, NY. They were sold primarily as kits in the 1950's and assembled by electronics hobbyists. This one lights up and appears to work but I haven't thoroughly tested it so it's being sold as-is. I measured a .27ufd capacitor, which read closer to .22ufd. But hey! It's from the 1950's - the fact that it works at all is amazing. It's meant to use a TV jumper cord for power, which I don't have, but I will include the AC cord shown in the photo, which seems to work fine. I'll also include a PDF copy of the assembly manual, complete with schematics and parts lists. I do not have the pin-type test leads. A cool bit of electronics nostalgia. Thanks for looking!
