This is a Vintage Compugraphic 7200 Photo Typesetting Machine Keyboard Layout Booklet. This booklet is intact and excellent condition. Each layout is perforated in the book and none have been removed. This is great shape for the collector of these kinds of items. The 7200 used to use hundreds of different type fonts that used to photographically type on a 35mm reel of paper. The paper would then be developed through a machine of chemical solutions. Next the paper would be hung to dry, waxed, cut and letters/words pasted onto artwork. I know, I used to be a 'Paste Up Jockey' as they called us back in the 70s. The keyboard of the machine was the same, so to know what you were typing when using different fonts, you would put these samples in front of you as a guide to type. I used one of these machines well into the nineties for my graphics firm. The 7200 machine was state of the art long before computers. See pictures for details.
