1940's - 1950's Detecto Light Blue 30-lb Beam Medical Baby Scale Industrial Grade / Cast Iron Made By Jacobs Bros. Company, Brooklyn, New York. USA. All original and in Very Good Condition : * All moving parts function as they should with slight wear and rust. * The beam of the scale has wear from use and has all the scale measurement charts for girls and boys and condition is still easily readable. * The base has some wear with some small scraps taking off paint and some small dings mainly on feet..(pictured). * The base still has the sticker with instructions is complete and readable.(pictured). * The scoop where the baby is placed to weigh is aluminum with chrome plating. The chrome has a lot of scratches light and deep, rusted spots. The shape of the scoop has some bends / warping. * The screw that holds down the scoop is loose and has a bend in middle of screw. A rubber washer (not included) should help keep the scoop and screw more secure. * 2 - 10 pound Counter weights have some wear For shipping purposes the scoop will be taken off and will ship in two pieces in one box.
