Old heavy steel model pencil sharpener such as you may have found in the classroom of the 1960s.  The shavings compartment is made of heavy clear plastic.  There is a metal guide disk with 6 hole sizes that are used to support the pencil while sharpening.  Although I got it secondhand, it seems to function as intended.  Also have 2 mounting screws that come with it.  The plastic compartment has 3 stress fractures - 2 near top and one on the side next to the crank.  These probably came from children trying to force the compartment into the unit without correctly aligning the guide slots.  They do not hinder the operation of it.  I have not cleaned up this item and the sharpening cylinders could use a thorough cleaning.  Thanks for viewing my item.
