This drive shaft is believed to be from an American LaFrance but not guaranteed.  The man that had this shaft was a collector of American LaFrance parts.  Cant ask him cause he is no longer with us. The shaft measures 24" and extends to 25 1/2".  All grease fittings are good and the shaft moves easily and is tight.  The u joints are tight. The bolt holes measures 2" x 2 1/2".  The shafts bore end measures 1 1/8" I D.   The OD of the main part of the shaft measures 2".  All in all this is a very good piece.
