Hello I have for auction this vintage 1950’s “Scientific Geiger Gun” radiation counter model S101. It was manufactured by the Scientific Radio Products, INC. Company in Omaha, Nebraska. Package includes Geiger gun, Instruction manual, vintage head phone, and canvas carry bag. The Geiger gun measures approx. 11 inches long and is powered by 1 “D” cell battery. Battery compartment is clean. Head set and instruction manual and canvass carry bag are all intact. Items are all in great condition. I have had this in my collection for many years and for fun I put a battery in the unit to try. When turned on the guns starts humming, clicking along with the needle moving on the end gauge/counter. Unit seems to be in working order; however I would not count on any accuracy from the unit without it being serviced by a qualified technician first.
