The exposure meter with case belonged to my Great Uncle who was a professional photographer in the Los Angeles, CA area in the early to mid-1900's.  He passed away in the early-1960's.  He spent many years taking photographs and films for the studios in Hollywood, was the photographer for National Geographic when they had an expedition on Mt. Whitney, and took school photos of students in and around Hollywood and Los Angeles, to name a few of the things he did. I haven't tested the exposure meter to see if it works, but I presume it does.  The right side of the meter has a worn spot where my Great Uncle's thumb held it.  I remember him using it to set up for photographs of me when I was a child and in my teens.  Funny, but I absolutely hated having my picture taken!!  The case is leather and the leather is in excellent condition, but as you can see from the photos, the stitching is worn and in most spots is rotting away.
The meter itself is in very good condition, the leather case is in good condition except some of the stitching has worn/rotted away.
