Please read the entire listing AND our Terms and Conditions before placing a bid or using the Buy It Now option. Vintage Heathkit IG102 RF signal generator:  This unit is a very clean signal generator from the 1960s. It is designed to produce modulated and unmodulated RF signals from 100 KHz to 110MHz in six bands. Calibrated harmonics are available in an additional band from 100MHz to 220MHz. An internal, 400Hz audio oscillator can be used to produce modulated RF and is available externally. External modulating signals may also be used. The unit appears to be working normally, and would make a great addition to anyone’s vintage electronics workbench. Externally, the unit appears to be in very good condition -- see pictures. Here are my observations as I cleaned it up for eBay. The case appears to be in very good condition with only relatively minor scratches and discoloration due to age and use. The unit powers on normally. The controls rotate freely and function as expected. The vernier dial operates very smoothly. All functions appeared to operate as expected. The complete manual is readily available online -- just Google it. The user and calibration portions of the manual will be included with the unit. Unit is built around two dual function tubes -- 12AT7 and 6AN8 The unit is being sold as-is. No effort was made to calibrate or to characterize the performance. A Google search brought up several on-line references, reviews, and online manuals. This signal generator will make a great addition to your vintage electronics work bench! ------------------------- Items being sold have been donated to the Antique Wireless Association Museum for improvement of its collection, or for its continuing operation and support.
