This auction is for a set of three vintage letterpress printing blocks, as shown in the photos above. These are copper plates on wooden backing. The largest is 6.25 x 4.25 x 1 inches, and is an advertising image for ALCOR Paper Company, based in Rochester, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and New York City. The next is a block for printing a notice: USE NO HOOKS, HANDLE WITH CARE. It's 3.5 by 5.25 x 1 inches. The last is an ad for Hickok Products of Rochester NY, sponsors of the famous Hickok Belt sports awards. It has the Hickok logo with a subtitle "Makers of World-Famous Hickok Belts," and two round seals: "A Lifetime of Good Luck For Dad," and "Hickok Father of the Year Award," plus the statement "Free with all Hickok Gold Medal Gifts, 1955." Great for your display of vintage printing items.
