This is an O.M. Franklin, Heavy Duty, Hypodermic Syringe, from O. M. Franklin Serum Co., General Office, Denver, Colo., U.S.A.(description printed on end of box).  The syringe is a 10 cc syringe. The syringe without the needles measures about 6" long.  I believe it was used for animal vaccination. I do not know if it works, or how it works. It has two (2)  needles with it and it does have included in box a piece of paper that reads 'DIRECTIONS FOR USE'. These are the instructions:  This syringe is equipped with the latest type head cap construction and entire plunger assembly can be removed without disturbing the glass barrel.  Unscrew cap insert indicated by arrow.  To expand packings pull plunger to top of syringe, grasp plunger sleeve firmly and turn palm rest to right so that expanded packing edges are slightly flattened against glass barrel.  Test syringes for necessary suction by placing finger over end of needle adapter.  After use loosen packings by unscrewing palm rest.   This is the way I found this in my fathers belongings.  Sold as is, no returns.  We accept Paypal only, please ask questions before bidding.
