It was a very pleasant surprise to find this! I was a vendor to ROTRON in the early '60's, and had developed the oil impregnation system that makes this little example perfectly good -- and in all ways like new -- yet today. Yes, it comes from THAT Woodstock, NY, and was made, during THAT period, in a beautiful little facility right in the middle of a cow pasture, surrounded by the most beautiful countryside you've ever seen. I really enjoyed calling on them from Buffalo as the folks there were also a delight to work with. So...here is the first (and probably the best) iteration of the revolutionary (at least as far as electronic equipment cooling is concerned) ROTRON "Muffin" fan. It is NOT a Comair or EG&G version....and certainly not one of the knock-offs that came along when the patents ran out, as it pre-dates ROTRON's first selling out to another company. Made in Woodstock, NY, U.S.A., and "still crazy perfect after all these (50+) years"! I tested it with alligator clips, and it blows like crazy -- and silently -- on my fantastic "oil=less" bearings.
