A rare collection of 425 old metal letters, numbers and symbols that were used in a Kansas church, sorted in a heavy wooden box with little wood slots inside to hold the pieces. Some of the wooden slots are loose and the box has some surface wear. The letters are printed cream on black and they have the words "Unitype pat. pending 1923" on  the back. A few of the pieces have some surface rust and six of them are bent but they are all still usable, many are still in excellent condition.  The box has three layers, the top layer having the smallest letters. The middle layer has medium size letters and the bottom layer has large letters.  The set is not complete - there are no small "R's", and no medium "A C E K L and R's". The numbers of each letter varies, I can send you a list of the exact counts per letter on request. The top and bottom drawers have missing knobs but can still be opened easily. A few of the letters look newer and have a more whitish appearance, these are also marked Unitype on the back but have no date.  All letters have a curled edge for hanging on a signboard. I have shown a photo of all three shades of letters. Some of the letters have been painted with what looks like paint to make them more visible, or have been changed with a black marker, these are NOT included in the count of letters but you can have them as part of the set.  Measurements  All measurements approximate. I measured the letter A's. Some of the punctuation pieces are much narrower than the letters Small letters vary from 1.5" x 3/4" Medium 2-3/8" x 1.5" Large 3.25 x 2" Box measures 16x13x12.5" and weighs just under 22 pounds!  Returns Hassle free returns International Buyers Hablo Espanol.
