1950's Bakelite Simpson Model 260 Multimeter Description Bakelite meter with original cardboard box and soft-cover instruction manual. The manual is dated 1955. Excellent condition. The meter is in immaculate, near-mint condition with no cosmetic issues. I doubt that you'll be able to find a better one than this. The box has some damage and is missing the top portion. The manual is complete and intact with some folds and light age toning throughout. Unfortunately, this meter does not include a set of leads. The person that I got this off of had another, identical meter but they only had one set of leads and were unwilling to part with them. I was able to have them test the meter with the leads they had and it was found to be in perfect working order. I'm unsure if this meter is compatible with other leads or if replacements are readily available.      About Me My name is Lyss and I'm a long time collector and seller of all things old, vintage and interesting.
