For your bidding pleasure this vintage 1968 edition of Elements of Farrier Science by D. M. Canfield and vintage /antique handmade dual knob wood handled farrier rasp. The first item in this lot is the book titled: Elements Of Farrier by D. M. Canfield Farrier Instructor Agriservices Foundation , Inc., Middle Tennessee State University. This is the second edition, copyrighted in 1968 and exclusively printed and distributed by Enderes Tool Co., Inc. Albert Lea, Minnesota 56007. It is a 1172 page 8 1/2" x 11" book with the last 2 pages being advertisements for Enderes Tool Co. All illustrations and photos are in black and white. It comes in its original orange vinyl coverIet is in excellent condition for its age and use with no rips, tears, missing or marked pages, however there is some yellowing around pages. The second item in this lot is the hand made dual knob wood handled metal farrier rasp. It measures 14" knob to knob, 1 1/4" wide ,1" thick and weighs15.4 oz. It too is in excellent condition for its age and use with the exception of some slight oxidation of the metal . The metal is 2 sided and can be reversed if desired. A fantastic gift or addition to any vintage farrier or tool collection. Please use the " enlarge" and "zoom " features provided as this too is part of the item's description.
