This is a Duo Seal Vacuum Pump that is a model 1397. I obtained this pump from a college that no longer had a use for it. The 1 HP electric motor appeared to short out, but the vacuum pump appears to be in good working order.

Welch Duo-Seal Vacuum Pump 1397 w/ GE 1HP 1725RPM Motor Pump and Motor were operational when decommissioned but have not been tested since moved into inventory. Needs new seal, see pictures. Sold As Is.

This is a working Welch Duoseal mo. 1397 vacuum pump. It is currently plumbed into an experimental research station that is no longer required for our work.

We are offering for sale one each Veeco bell jar vacuum evaporator, metallizer. It has been used for gold and aluminum. At time of acquisition it was installed in a clean room with a Welch 1397 roughing pump.
