We acquired these sets from med school students who claim that they were seldom-used.. The sets are in excellent used condition-- it is obvious that the students took great care of their sets. Every component has been completely tested prior to this listing and each item works properly. The list price of this premium set is $1065.00. This set features the new/innovative PanOptic ophthalmoscope, the MacroView otoscope and the traditional convertible Ni-Cad power handle with converter ring. Please note that there is no corneal viewing lens with this set (it is not normally included in this set). As an added courtesy to the buyer, we have replaced the battery in this set with a new premium generic battery with an expiration date of 2016. We have also "pre-conditioned" the new battery as a courtesy to the buyer. Preconditioning consists of charging the battery for 16 hours, totally discharging the battery, charging the battery a second time for 16 hours, totally discharging the battery a second time, and then recharging the battery for 16 continuous hours for a third time. The battery is then tested and inserted into the handle for future use.
