Wood-Mizer Vacuum Kiln Model 1000 We purchased this unit used, spent money to have the computer fixed at Wood-Mizer, had the unit checked out by a HVAC company, and bought 2 new blankets and several other things about 7 years ago. We have never used the unit..... it appears to work, but we do not know. We are selling the unit as is. We have kept the unit under a covered shed as the photo's show. Buyer will be responsible for shipping we can load the unit provided it meets our schedule. There are 4 blankets that have been used and 2 other blankets that appear not to be used that came with the kiln. When we purchased the unit we purchased an additional two blankets which were never used. The metal box is a condensation box that we had built that goes under the unit that we never installed to replace the one that has a hole it it. There are also thermistors that are included. We had also purchased a new rubber gasket that is still in the box although given the length of time not sure it's condition. Unit lumber housing is all Aluminum. As we said earlier we never started or used the unit for kiln drying after we spent the money to get the unit operational. ( You may ask why we never used it..... we have two other conventional kilns and we choose to enter the instrument building market and just didn't have enough hours in our day. Much of the lumber we use for instruments is not domestic. We have considerably more than we are asking in the unit. ) Unit is located approximately 50 miles South-East of Nashville, TN.
