The TDS360 is a 200MHz (1gigasamples/sec) digital storage scope made circa mid-1996 and cost $4000 new. Compared to Tek 2465Bs I specialize in, it seems a bit fluffy, but it does something 2465Bs can't: store. Compared to 2440s, it also seems fluffy. Compared to TDS350 predecessor, it offers storage on 3" floppies. Compared to TDS320 and TDS340, it offers twice the bandwidth and sampling rate. It includes TV Sync. It operates on 90 to 250 Vac (no need for 115/230 switch, or worrying about forgetting to move it across borders). It is lightweight, about 15# or 7Kg, ideal for field service. First photo shows it passes self tests. 2nd photo shows a 50MHz sine signal into CH2. In 3rd photo frequency is raised to 250MHz and it shrinks a little, as expected with a 200MHz scope. 4th photo shows it measuring frequency and risetime of a 1MHz 1Vpp square wave. 5th photo shows same stretched to fastest sweep speed. While this gets better resolution for risetime, not having 3 edges causes loss of freq measurement capability. 6th photo shows a 2Vpp 1KHz square wave being fed and measured into CH1. Scopes offered are serials # B012520 & B012647, 1st buyer picks. Scopes have a 20 year old Li battery backed NVRAM and timekeeping clock (DS1644-120). If you want me to replace that soldered in 28 pin IC with a new one (and install a socket to make it easier next time), please be prepared to pay me $600 more (this less than what Tek would charge) on top of its BIN price. I will also extend guaranty to 6 months for that extra money, and add 2 Tek P6106 10:1 250MHz probes (with readout encoding, each of which cost $250 new from Tek, a P6106 is seen last photo).
