Video review 4.04 version from Dave Jones - EEVBLOG Ultra-Micron 4.06 is the smallest and lightweight "digital radioactive dosimeter" in the world; it’s made with fully Open-Source schematics and PCB. It easy for DIY and modifications. I created this project to protect the user from the radioactive contamination, and should be always carried with you. In standby mode, it will be protecting the user for more than 6-12 months without charging. Monitoring of the radioactive background is carried out constantly. Radiation dose is also being calculated constantly. Last 60 days monitoring data is being saved to device memory, and can be loaded to the PC (Micro-USB 2.0 cable) for analysis. If radioactivity is above the predetermined threshold, it emits the sound alarm and vibration. Also monitoring data can be loaded to my monitoring project. All software translated to english. Dimensions: 49*27*14 mm. (without buttons height) Weight: 19.5 grams. Sensivity range: 0.01 - 7840 uSv/h (Gamma+Hard Beta source). (tested) Standby uptime: >6 months without charging. (in most cases 1 year) Display actived uptime: >4 hours without charging. Micro-USB: Charging device and data sync to PC Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1. Data storage time: 60 days. Count speed: up to 250 sec in low level radiation 1-5.00 uSv/h. On higher level count time accelerated up to 20 sec. Dose time: 10 min, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 2 month. Alarm: Sound+Vibro, Sound only. Alarm level: off, 0.25 uSv/h, 0.50 uSv/h.... up to 80.00 uSv/h. Units: uR and uSv. Made in: Russia. Each device fully tested on radiation level up to 300.00 uSv/h by Ra226 source. One of each series tested up to 7840 uSv/h by Cs137 source.
