This is an adapter the allows the use of standard 3/8-24 male threaded tig torch power hoses on an import welder that has M16x1.5 male threads for the gas and power connection, simply thread this on to your machines M16x1.5 male thread gas/power connection and snug it with a wrench, thread your 3/8''-24 gas/power hose into the adapter and tighten, check for leaks in the usual way and you are ready to weld without those bulky inflexible and leaky imported hoses. The 3/8''-24 hose uses a smaller spherical end than the M16 fitting, this is not a concern as it will seat correctly and seal on the machines gas outlet. Gas flow is not compromised and proper installation results in a leak free seal.
